Leaders who utilize Evidence-Based models for managing and supporting innovation in services and supports are achieving quality outcomes related to mandates from funders (Medicaid, Vocational Rehabilitation Services) and success with implementing policies (HCBS Settings Rule/ Medicaid and WIOA).

Please come prepared to engage and consider different ways to manage and support innovation in these changing times.

Details about sessions

I.  In Session 1 we focus on:

  • Modern Leadership Styles and why leaders need to update how they lead

  • How to integrate the 5 WHYS into systems/organizations to identify the root of most issues

  • Change Management – Self-Directed Teams

  • How to develop, coach and support Self-Directed Teams

II.  In Session 2 we will focus on:

  • Strengths-Based Theory and Leadership Defined

  •  The Data and Why It Works

  •   Identifying Your and the Teams Strengths and Weaknesses within the Four Domains    

  •   How to Apply Strengths-Based Leadership

  •   Challenges of Strengths-Based Leadership

  •   Tips on How to Lead Strengths-Based Teams

III.  In Session 3 we will conclude with:

  •    Stop, Start, Continue: Simplifying Innovation and Change

  •    Team-work – Trying Out Stop, Start, Continue

  •    Final reflections
