About IRI

Integrated Resources Institute provides competitive and integrated employment and living services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Since 1984, IRI’s MentorWorks service has supported more than 20,000 people with disabilities in achieving meaningful employment throughout the United States and Australia. Today, MentorWorks partners with public- and private-sector employers across Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and San Diego counties. We support recruitment, hiring, workplace training, self-employment, and long-term success in integrated work settings.

MentorWorks partners with employers to build inclusive workplace cultures through a mentoring-based approach. By engaging supervisors and coworkers in supporting workplace success, this approach strengthens inclusion, belonging, and long-term employment retention for workers with disabilities.

In 2014, IRI expanded its services to include Supported Living Services. We believe every person with a developmental disability has the right to live in a home of their choosing, with individualized support that empowers them to direct their own life.

Since 1995, IRI has also provided educational consultation to families and school districts. We help develop inclusive educational programs that support students with disabilities in learning alongside their peers at their neighborhood schools and successfully transitioning to competitive integrated employment and full participation in community life.
