About IRI

Integrated Resources Institute provides competitive and integrated employment and living services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Since 1984 IRI, through its MentorWorks program, has facilitated the employment of over 20,000 persons with significant disabilities in the USA and Australia. MentorWorks currently works with Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and San Diego Counties private and public employers to assist with the recruitment, hiring, training and ongoing support for persons with disabilities in integrated work settings and self-employment.

More About Our MentorWorks Program

MentorWorks promotes a mentoring approach for employers, that results in superior inclusion and retention outcomes for workers with disabilities. As a result of this approach, workers with disabilities are successfully integrated into the regular work force and have a retention rate that averages 300% better when compared to non-disabled co-workers.

In 2014, IRI began Supported Living Services for persons with disabilities. We believe that every person with a developmental disability has the right to live in a home of their own with the support needed to live the life that they choose. 

Since 1995, IRI has provided educational consultation to families and school districts to develop programs that fully include students with disabilities in their home school regular education setting and transition to integrated post-school community work opportunities.
