Course Description
This Certificate course is a self-paced online course comprised of pre-recorded online video presentations, activities, and quizzes totaling 30 hours and additional 10 hours’ worth of field-based assignments (40 hours combined). The workshops cover topics such as Core Values & Principles to Practice in Community Employment, Discovery/Individualized Assessment and Employment/Career Planning, Community Research and Job Development, and Workplace and Related Supports. Focus will be given to customized employment as it relates to these topics. An ACRE Certificate of Achievement in Basic Employment Services with an Emphasis on Customized Employment will be awarded will to all learners who complete all training requirements for that certificate. Training will take place online through our online learning platform and costs $300.
