FAQ About IRI Internship Service

Typically internships range from 3 months to a max of 1 year. An intern can work a max of 1,040 hours.

No, however if the intern has done a good job and you have an open position, we encourage you to consider them for the open position.

IRI will support the intern in receiving wages, through funding from the State of California. The intern should be paid the same as other employees doing the same job.

IRI will work with the employer to ensure that expectations are being met. IRI will provide ongoing job coaching to the intern.
